Kelmscott Press Merges with JW Reproductions
AURORA, IL- Kelmscott Press, Inc. and J.W. Reproductions, Inc. announced today the merger of the two entities. The two successful entities will bring together their resources and capabilities and go to market under the Kelmscott Press brand name.
In the past 30 months, Voris has lead Kelmscott through a significant expansion of services and industry growth. The company will house its graphic design, offset printing, and finishing operations at 1665 Mallette Road; and house its wide format signage, mailing, and on-line customer fulfillment operations at 620 N. Highland Avenue. Within the City of Aurora, Kelmscott will operate 40,000 square feet of production space and employ 47 full time employees and dozens more part-time workers.
Kelmscott Press, founded in 1936, is currently celebrating its 70 th year in business in Aurora. Bringing together the resources and talents of J.W. Reproductions, which brings 36 years of experience and technology, and Kelmscott will provide significant benefit to the customers of both organizations.

Jim Rhoades, founder and President of J.W. Reproductions, built his company from a start-up business in his basement to a business with a significant presence in the Fox Valley.

Kelmscott Press, Inc. has been a presence in the Fox Valley area since 1936. Named for the renowned 19 th century English printing establishment, Aurora's Kelmscott continues to emulate its namesake in both quality and excellence of design. The firm currently employs 47 workers and has won numerous awards for industry excellence, including the Printing Institute of America's (PIA) prestigious "Best of the Best Workplace in America" on five separate occasions. Voris purchased Kelmscott Press in 2004 from Thomas Reeves, whose family has had partial or sole interest in Kelmscott since 1963.
